Us FOSS folks like to use the LibreOffice suite of applications, but anysearcher does not seem to support its file formats.

Would be so nice if it could.

Best,

Bob

It saved much of my time to browsing HWP and HWPX files.

But, on my MacOS machine, these extensions are not searchable on AnyTXT.

Do you have any plan to activate this feature on MacOS anytime soon?

You can perform index rebuilding by following these steps:

After rebuilding the index, you can also set the search scope in the search type to exclude directories that do not need to be searched, which can free up some disk space.

Thank you.

I ran into an issue when installing Anytxt.

MacBook Air / Apple M1 / 16GB RAM + macOS Tahoe 26.3

error message

I couldn’t click on Retry / Ignore / Cancel, as clicking did not work. Hitting Enter would work to “Retry” (but couldn’t use Tab to move to the next option) — however it would just come up with these same options.

I couldn’t force quit the installer either. I had to open “Force Quit” (Cmd + Option + Esc) to kill the installer.

Thank you in advance for your help!
