It’s easy to be “unresponsive” even when it doesn’t seem to be doing anything: no input or long after the search is complete

I get stuck every time I use it, even when I reopen it after leaving it in the background for a long time. Turning it off and back on, restarting the computer and using it again did not solve the problem.

After using this new version for some time, I think the interface freezing problem has been solved, even during the indexing process there is no freezing.
Also off topic, I think there is a little logic bug when adding index file categories, because I have to select a specific file of that type to proceed to the next step, which I think is not necessary. For example, when I wanted to add the epub type, I searched for the epub file on my hard drive for a long time before adding it, and I was expecting to see the next prompt box as soon as I filled in the epub string.

Hi, flz. Thanks for your advice.

Please try this(different from previous), and testing the freezing problem.

    Thank you very much.

This is similar to version 1.2.523, the interface can easily freeze up. Also it is sometimes slow at startup (about 10 seconds before it appears)

Where are the index files stored? Is it SSD, HDD or Network Drive?

I had the same issue with the latest version, so I rolled back to the previous version.
