When I perform searches through the web service, sometimes the process becomes unresponsive and I need to restart the server.
I’ve noticed this happens when the search isn’t immediate and takes a few seconds to return results. It’s at this point that the website doesn’t refresh and the service stops working.
However, if the same search is performed locally, there’s no problem.

Is there an option to configure this? Any ideas what the problem might be?

Hello, I am trying to settle on a replacement for Google Desktop Search. Anytxt is a good candidate but immediately I have questions and a problem and request help:

1. I would like results sorted always in reverse-chronological order, that is, newest at top. Don’t know if possible, and if so, how.
2. How to exclude a folder for example C:\Users\Ehrhardt\AppData\Roaming\ and all subfolders
3. Sometimes a search for a single string returns many results that are irrelevant – they do not contain that string.

I saw that ATGUI.exe process tries to communicate with addresses like 188.114.96.2 for example…

What does it mean ? Does it send results of index to the cloud ????

some of the azw3 files (60% of my collection) are not opening inside right hand side preview window of Anytxt and rendering as Junk characters

it is perfectly opening  fine with caliber ebook reader  or Balabolka  reader ( http://www.cross-plus-a.com/balabolka.htm ) .

if there is any email id you can provide  or some site to upload I can send or upload these incorrectly rendering  azw3 files so that the issue can be analyzed and  fixed

I have observed that Anysearcher does not scan for .odt files.

Us FOSS folks like to use the LibreOffice suite of applications, but anysearcher does not seem to support its file formats.

Would be so nice if it could.
