Infinite “Loading data index”, freez, doest not work since few dayz

Hello,
For the past few days, I haven’t been able to use AnyTxt Searcher.
When I launch it, the software freezes, and I can’t do anything except go to the task manager to kill the process.

It says ‘Loading index data’ in the bottom left corner, but even after leaving it for hours, nothing happens.

I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but the problem persists.

Do you have any ideas? What could be causing this?

I use AnyTxt Searcher every day, and I’m lost without it now that it no longer works.

Hello.

Please try right-clicking the desktop shortcut and unchecking “Run as administrator,” or go to the installation directory and double-click ATGUI.exe to run it directly.

Thank you, it’s working again!
The ‘Run as administrator’ box was already unchecked, but launching directly from ATGUI.exe works perfectly! It was indeed caused by the shortcut.
