Very good pgm, but even though it should also find Open Document Format (OpenOffice, LibreOffice, etc.) as indicated in About (Version 1.3.2477), it doesn’t actually parse .ODT, .ODS, etc.
Nor does it parse .RTF and .LOG files.
Why these limitations?
Thanks, but it seems quite cumbersome to me; other equivalent pgms don’t have this complication.
The need to repeatedly refresh the indexing is also quite annoying and often flawed (it even detects files that no longer exist, but then fails to open them and displays a “Failed to read file…” warning).
I agree with the other posters. All file extensions (including a blank extension) that commonly include indexible, human-usable content should be included in the rule by default.
