App is extremely laggy

The application is extremely laggy after 10 000 text files have been indexed. Index has 200 MB.

It’s really anoying like semething is happening on backgroud. Index service is stopped. Clicking on the top menu – cyrcle, lag, not responding and waiting. Selecting between two files in resuslt search – cyrcle, lag, not responding and waiting. About every one minute.
