Index file grows and eats all space on C:

Anytxt is a useful utility, however I was trying to copy a large library of pdf files to a large external USB backup.

System eventual crashed during copy because of lack of space on C drive.   Had to uninstall Anytxt (and clear App directory) to get system working again.   This freed up over 100gig on C drive.

Anytxt needs to operate more intelligently in this type of situation.

In case of storing an app stores large files in an inconvenient location I move the folder to a drive that has more space and create a junction to the moved folder. The new location is not backed up because I can recreate the contents.

You can set the storage location to put the index directory somewhere else on your computer.
