Index lost every update

Each time I update the program, I hear it running and running afterwards. If I do a search for things easily found in earlier versions, I get no results and some message that Search is still incomplete.

It looks to me like the program is not smart enough to make use of the old Index and starts over from scratch again each upgrade.

This is shit programming. Too bad; I like it very much once it is working and have recommended it.

I even made a donation but no more if this keeps happening.

It is also disappointing that there are so few answers to questions on the forum. Does the author read these?

I was on vacation some time ago, sorry for the late reply.
It does not rebuild the index every time it is upgraded, but only when it needs to be upgraded. Some versions will rebuild it and it will remind you.
