Index service: More diagnostics/logs

Hello,

Thank you for your product. It is really great and works as expected.

There is one thing that I would like to bring to this discussion. Transparency. Currently, it is really hard to understand what the index service is doing exactly and there is just one state of it: ON/OFF. I have noticed that OCR takes quite some time, which is expected, but it took me a while to understand that the OCR is why my CPU is so busy.

 

I would like to suggest to display more information on the progress of file scanning, estimated completion time, exact activities being done by the index service, and similar things.  This would help a lot and make the product much more transparent from the user’s perspective.

Thank you for your suggestion.

We will improve some functions of Anytxt in the future.

It is recommended to have an independent graphics card to use the OCR function.
