DeveloperGuest
It shows green tick after scanned /indexing is completed but when searching it does not give complete results. Quite a files are are missing in results.
Is there anyway to make this search accurate & to get all relevant results in search?
AbbieModeratorHello.
Which version of Anytxt are you using?
DeveloperGuestwe are using below version :
AnyTXT.Searcher.1.3.1517.Win32_Win64.OCR.exe
AbbieModeratorHello.
Please try regex search.
Thank you.
DeveloperGuestWe’ve tried using regular expressions (regex) for our search functionality, but we’re not getting accurate results. Could you please provide some guidance on this?
Also, can you let me know the character limit for the search box in Anytxt?
User22GuestI’ve had 1.3.1380 for months and have the same issue.
llayaGuestSame on me.
The file opened in AnyTxt showed different edition with the current file. So if considering the result inside of AnyTxt, it’s done just right, although it’s not the result what we want.
Based on this, I guess the problem was occured from the index cache, however rebuilding the index won’t work it out.
The problem for me was happend inner of a git repository, which maybe related.
BTW I’ve reinstalled the whole software before I post this, so that’s all information I could offered till next time this problem happening.
AbbieModeratorHello.
1. If the search results are incomplete, try changing to regex match .
2.Click File->Exit to completely exit the software, then reopen the software and run it.
FlorinXXIGuestI had some PDF/Adobe files on a director and I searched one word hoping to find which file does it contain. Anytext showd no answer. Then I opened each file and I searched with the command Find from Adobe Reader the word and it is shown. Why is this error in Anytext and how it can be eliminated
