Search in Shared Folder (MAP Network Drive)

First, I want to express my appreciation for the amazing software you have developed. It has greatly enhanced my productivity and file management.

I am writing to request a new feature that I believe would be extremely beneficial for many users. Currently, I have several files stored on another computer within our network, and these files are mapped as network drives on my system. However, I have noticed that Anytxt Searcher does not support searching within these mapped network drives.

It would be incredibly useful if Anytxt Searcher could include the ability to search within mapped network drives, as this would allow users to efficiently manage and locate files stored across different systems within the same network.

Thank you for considering this feature request. I am confident that it will add significant value to an already excellent tool.

Anytxt Searcher is support searching within these mapped network drives.

First mapping the files to the local and updating the index,  then you can search these files.

I am using version 1.3.1380.

I have a network shared folder mapped to my computer (e.g., as drives E and F).

I went to Option > Index Manager > Reindex and reset the app.

After seeing the green check mark, I clicked on “Update Now” again.

However, I still cannot find anything in these mapped drives.

Right-click the Anytxt shortcut on the desktop, cancel the run as administrator option, then open Anytxt and see if there is a mapped drive letter in it.
