Hello,

I’m trying to index some files stored on windows server 2012 shared by smb protocol. On index manager index count seems to index the files although in search results remote files do not appear. When i index same folders locally it works perfect and remote files appear in explorer.

Does anyone has a hint to solve this problem?

I forgot to mention that when I try to access the remote directory from search section -> path field an error message appears “The search directory \sever-name\directory you specified does not exist. Please make sur……”. I notice that on the message the first backslash of the path I entered is removed as the uri I type is “\\server-name\directory”
