GuestThis has happened before and is usually cured by reinstallation, but it’s a pain to have to set it up from scratch again. I have the latest version, My Win10 laptop has Windows updates switched off and so has none of the usual issues – it has worked perfectly for years!
No matter how many times I reindex my C Drive, Anytxt cannot find items which I can see are there in a text viewer, and which, please note, it found yesterday. It also opened in a different place on the screen today with the default window size, so it looks like it simply loses its saved settings.
Can you stop this from happening, please?
Thanks, Michael

KeymasterHi, Michael.
Which version of Anytxt are you using?
Thank you.
PUBG Lite apk
GuestIt is possible that Windows 10 is still updating itself even though you have Windows updates switched off. This can happen because Microsoft releases updates outside of the normal update schedule, such as when there is a security vulnerability that needs to be patched. These updates are released through Windows Update and will be installed automatically even if you have Windows updates switched off.
Another possibility is that Anytxt is simply not compatible with the version of Windows 10 that you are running. You can try updating Anytxt to the latest version to see if that fixes the problem.
If you are still having problems after updating Anytxt, you can try reinstalling it. This will remove any corrupted files that may be causing the problem.
Finally, you can try running Anytxt in compatibility mode. This will force Anytxt to run in the same mode as an older version of Windows, which may fix the problem.
To run Anytxt in compatibility mode:
Right-click the Anytxt shortcut and select Properties.
Click the Compatibility tab.
Under Compatibility mode, check the box next to Run this program in compatibility mode for.
From the drop-down list, select the version of Windows that Anytxt was designed to run on.
Click Apply and then OK.
If you are still having problems after trying all of these things, you should contact the Anytxt support team for assistance. -
